Yes I do enjoy the blues used on VBSEO.com and that is where the color scheme came from. I think it is nice and smooth.

Do you have suggestions on what it is that is too messy? The side bar? Other than the sidebar it is basically a default vBulletin skin with different colors.

I would say it is the sidebar on the right that makes it look at little overloaded because it's a lot of small text.
