Mike, here are my thoughts:

1) The brown theme doesn't really match the header at all (or Star Wars, IMO). Alter the style to use that silver, black with red/yellow highlights color theme.

2) Shoutboxes may be playful, but they make the site look very unprofessional and messy - especially on the front page being the first thing a guest sees.

3) Site Index - I really hate seeing standard vbAdvanced CMPS indexes. They are useless, and poorly reflect on the site's content. The homepage is the most important page of the site, so either have some news there, or put more content. Your average Joe won't care about about your site stats, who's online, etc. Also the navigation module is almost redundant, as you have plenty of navigation up top. BTW, yours is actually better than most others, so good job lol. Current Poll too... unless you hand-pick these polls, then it is generally garbage content. "Favorite Browser" really has no relevance here.

4) As Shelley said, all your images have incorrect matting (white edges instead of brown).

5) Change the 'Portal' page to 'Index', 'Home', or something else. If I was a hardcore SW fan, and knew nothing of vBulletin and CMSs in general, I would assume a Portal is a magic gateway to another planet. ;)
