I have installed some modifications such as when you register, it asks what side of the force you want to be on, and depending on that, you get into Jedi/Sith Talk. Visually, the style is an eyesore. Brown is a prity difficult colour to manage and for a starwars forum this particular colour(s) of brown really don't fit and complement the theme at all.

The grid effect (background image) in the alt1 + alt2 areas ensures that any image applied onto it looks tacky and doesn't allow what that image was intended to do which is to have some kind of prominancy aswell as a clean background to which it's being applied onto.

For example, the announcement icon. The forum status icons (look closely at the edges).

Like I said with the grid effect it's going to affect the images and it's just doing that only this time with the firstnew.gif icon. It looks terribly drowned out and makes it hard for anyone to see what and where the icon is.

Personally, I don't like the style at all. Colour usage is bad and the patterns in the gradients (tcat & thead) are far to prominant and gives off an unpleasant effect when scrolling.

Shame on you. You've implemented smilies that are supposed to be for a white background on a tan/light brown background which gives off a white redundant matte border.

I would'nt suggest in trying to fix the style but hopefully convince you to change it and look harder for another style which will complement your new license.

Although i would listen to Shelley when it comes to Styles she knows all...:chinese:

I would use a silver style to emulate stainless steel for the skin. I would also move the shoutbox to the bottom of forum. Not everyone uses that feature, and it gets old real fast having to scroll down everytime the page loads, just to see the main forum. Love the 'uploading files' section ;) I will try to make you some custom animated icons for the site next week
