Id like to get some feedback on my vB board and portal, its mainly a Digitel art community with abit of gameing, so what do you think?

a) skins to dark
b) red and black doesn't go
c) it hurts my eyes
d) why the random image on the front page?
e) it's a bit Gothic and is someway single community sided. If you changed the skin you would probably get more members.

a) skins is dark enough ;)
b) red & black are a great combinations
c) the overal skin hurts a bit too the eyes, because you are reading white on a black bg, might suggest changing to a very light gray instead

red and black is not good for people with bad eyesight. Peterska can't see red on black.

Valid point, my current members liked it but you are right about it putting other people of.

I disagree with that, the black and red when together pritty nice although the dark was hmm to dark..

I did make a mod that would make your life easier :p

Here is the thing, if your a designz site like you claim to be it looks incredibly...for lack of a better word...n00bish for you to be using someone elses premade forum style. The green one in made by 2evolve and the red and black one is made by one other well-known skin maker.

Make your own and give your forum a personal touch

i suppose there is that, most GFX sites would use a custom made skin.

I would agree with you if the GFX site was a profit makeing site that sold designs, we dont do that, where a site where people who enjoy useing photoshop and other programs to make sigs and other kinds of stuff come to chill out and get together, i wouldnt no where to start to make our own skin, nor have a desire to do so, or pay for a custom one.

And your very wrong about most gfx sites have there own custom style, i could real of 90 % of the sites that i have bookmarked (well over 100) and all have well none over used skins from plases like extream pixles and transvearse styles, thats one of the reasons i hunt round the internet trying to get skins that look good and arnt used everywhere (without paying the earth for a custom one) and im yet to see one other site useing the sflux skin and the black one from forumthemes.

But hay thats just my oppinion on it!

If your a gfx site then it would be easy enough to design a skin then you just need someone to code it. Which if the design looks nice i may do for free ;) A custom skin would look better.
