For me it has another effect: the moment I saw that annoying box I closed the screen, felt it nagging me. Perhaps you can make it smaller and less disruptive while browsing your forum as a guest?

i think i'll need to do something with , but at the moment i applyed a new skin so the box ain't anoyying anymore

Very nice forum. But heres a few tips to make it look more "professional"

Banner: Add some Text to it? Lol..its too plain..
Shoutbox: Remove the Time next to the username
Website Scripting and Coding World kind of sound the same? Maybe combine the two?..
Tutorials, you already have a subforum for one in graphics, why don't you just make another subforum in Coding World..and remove that
Start some competitions to get active. I noticed you have 160+ members and only 1000+ posts..not that good of a ratio?
Ever thought about affiliating with other forums?

ditto, Pop-ups will turn more guest away, then attract them ;)

I would work on optimizing the site some too.. vB is good, but with 30 mins of tweaking, it can be so much better..
