Okay, the style. Far to much red for me, I would have broke down certain areas and implemented other colours to break the red out.
The forum icons seem to be saved for another coloured background. In otherwords, the graphic is showing a white surround and this gives off an ugly white matte and jaggy edged image which could have been easily correct by finding out the hex value of the background and saving the image to compliment that which would have ensuured a smotther edged image.
The same goes for the images in the "what's going on" area.
Same for the button set. I'm seeing a jaggy edge, I duon't know whether this is an incorrect matte background problem or a masking issue but the edging on most of the images look very poor.
Tweak up the fine details and possibly break the over powering red by giving the thead gradient a colour change.
