Who Installed Addition

I'm very happy to announce that the who Install/Uninstall has been added to the forums. Most of you are already aware how this works. For those who don't know. Let me explain.

If you see a hack that you like, and you have decided to install that hack on your forums, then you should click the install button which looks like this.

. If you have uninstalled that hack for any reason that you should click on the uninstall button. Which looks like this

.

You may see who installed the hack by clicking the numbers on the fourmsdisplay. It will show the number of people who have installed that particular hack, the user names, and when they installed it.

So if you have installed a hack i would suggest clicking the install button, because who wants to post a support question in a hack-thread and don't have as installed in postbit.

I love that addition... I've never had a use for it on my forums, but I love having it around on VB hack sites. Nice choice! :p

I dont have the code I used to make that on hand right now. Im thinking about remaking the code once more. If I remake the code it will have several new uses. Im also not sure if I want to release it. The reason I never released it before is becuase of the fact that this code is not common code to find on many sites which makes it a handy tool to give my site and other sites I release that code to extra features that not everybody has access to. I will think about if I want to make this code public.

the code used is very simple.

When a user clicks on the button, a query is run. One to add +1 to the thread id to keep count how many people installed. Another to add which user has clicked it. The userid, username, threadid, all things you will need. it records it in the database, then it calls it back with a few php commands.
