They've had hardware failure and are working on it now.

VB is down alot because of various server issues and it reflects poorly on thier image. Most "new" users wont simply see that the site is down and associate that (incorrectly) with the software.

Jelsoft should consider a more redundant server solution. I am sure that may require some tweaking of the vb code base but I believe it only make the software scale easier out of the box which is what alot of bba's are looking for.
