We are happy to inform you that Crawlability Inc. has acquired vBHackers.com.

As you may be aware, Crawlability Inc. are the makers of the vBSEO search engine optimization solution for vBulletin - the definitive SEO enhancement for vBulletin powered forums.

Since the vBSEO Team works directly with many prominent developers in the vBulletin community, we feel that taking over management of vBHackers.com will help to build a great new Web location for supporting development of all types of extensions to the core vBulletin product. We want to build on the foundations of what currently exists here at vBHackers.com and continue to improve it in the future.

vBHackers.com has been officially moved to the Crawlability servers and the vBSEO solution is now installed and running perfectly with GoogleBot and others rapidly crawling our new vBH forums and threads. You have probably noticed the new content relevant URLs, as well as the server running a bit faster than typical.

All members of the vBHackers team have maintained their positions. Rex Bowden, vBHacker's previous owner, will be remaining on as an active participant and is a member of the admin team.

After we achieve an official vBHackers re-launch, we plan to assemble development teams to start producing high quality plugins for various aspects of your vBulletin forums. Please feel free to start discussions regarding what types of tools/applications you would like to see provided.

I look forward to seeing how things develop and the new hacks you may be releasing here

However, please do not encode hacks - this is my only real criticism of vBseo. I will not use encoded hacks on my sites due to security reasons. I hope you don't mind me mentioning this but it is a large concern which I think many others share.

I'm certain they won't be encoding any other hacks of non-commercial nature... They only do that to protect their product.

I've been a long time member of vbseo, prerelease member as well. These guys & gals are some of the best, most dedicated and supportive group of Administrators,developers..etc, that I've ever known on any product.

I wonder if we will be seeing a vbseo lite release !!
