It has been asked many times now what was happening with this site. Well now we can start to reveal some of the things we have been working on. Each week we'll try to give you more insight on what the relaunch will include. So for now here is part 1 of what is coming in our re-launch. This is just a brief update to keep you all informed but we will explain more as we progress in the coming weeks.

• New skin and layout - no solid screenshots as yet until we finish working on it, sorry

• Tabbed browsing - this will keep the forum layout much better and easy for our members to find exactly what they are looking for.

• Support center - In this section, users can post questions asking for support. Any other users can post how to fix the problem, and there might be a few different ways. The author of the question will have two new buttons to select the answer that he went with that solved the problem. This system works with AJAX, so the pages must not be reloaded when clicking the answer. With this system, we can use points and show things such as TOP SUPPORTER.
• Modification Database - This will be improved upon in several areas. Adding AJAX features on install/uninstall. Another addition will be the Author badge. A user who installs the modification will be able to recognize posts made by the author easier.

i'm grateful to take active part in this develop & part of the re-lunch.
I can say i'm excited like i haven't been for a while, and want this community users to know they have something to look forward to !

Current staff have been working really hard for several weeks, trying to get this place back in top shape, in both content & knowledge and i can assure you WON'T be disapointed.

I hope all you members are ready for the re-launch as it should provide you with pretty much a totally new forum and return to what was once the forum that pretty much beat the butt off vb.org

We welcome you all to sign in and post some feedback on what else you would like to see changed that could help us move more in the right direction.

I would like to see bots from being able to register with VB forum software.

Wish they would fix existing issue first before moving forward instead of just either blaming the user or ignoring the problem like it does not exist!



Dont have this issue with "other" forum software....just VB.

There are several mods developed by coders that prevent bots from registering. You can find them over both here & on vbulletin.org.

Not sure i fully understood your statement above, as what this got to do with the re-lunch of this modification community site ?
Our community dedicated in helping vbulletin users in their coding/style task as well as sharing the knoweldge required. The re-lunch will allow users better interface with more ways to increase their knowledge than before.

Lol..Somethings never change.Maybe you should think about changing your user name before the re-launch.No prizes for guessing what.
