The rules have been modified slightly so i thought i'd repost it. These rules are FINAL and will be acted on very swiftly.

• RULE #1 - Flaming, Bashing, and Trolling
  Hate posts and personal attacks will not be tolerated on vBhacks.us. Treat others on these message boards as you would expect them to treat you. Posting topics specifically designed to provoke a negative response from someone (aka trolling) is also asked to be avoided. There are however some posts that will cause debates that may offend you. If you are easily offended by discussions about race, religion, and other highly opinionated topics we suggest you stay out of those topics.
  
• RULE #2 - No spamming
  Purposely spamming a message board with senseless, vacuous, or empty messages to gain a higher post count, or just to annoy others is HIGHLY frowned upon! Commercial spamming and advertising are just as unwelcome, double posting is allowed to an extent. Many users us 'Threaded Mode' and it is allowed to double post if posting to two different replies.
  
• Rule #3 -Impersonating Other Users / Accessing Another User('s)Account
  You may not impersonate another board member or create an account specifically for the purpose of provoking other users. Also, accessing or using someone else's account or attempting to access another poster's account is strictly prohibited. You will be banned. Also, registering multiple accounts to go around bans is prohibited and is considered harassment. Harassment on the internet is IDENTICAL to harassment laws in the US and you will be reported to your ISP.
  
• Rule #4 -Piracy, and Warez
  We do not mind discussions about piracy or warez, as long as they are just discussions. Linking or giving information about any site that distributes illegal software, or warez, seeking help to circumvent any copyright laws, or encouraging software or media piracy is grounds for an immediate ban. This includes sending the information in private messages.
  
• Rule #5 -Nudity/Porn
  Please remember that this board is a 'PUBLIC' forum. There are 12 year olds here just as there are 50 year olds. Nudity and porn is prohibited for obvious reasons.
  
• Rule #6 -Copyrighted Material
  vBhacks.us users agree not to post any material that is protected by copyright, trademark or other proprietary right without the express permission of the owner(s) of said copyright, trademark or other proprietary right. Again, this includes sending the material via Private Messages.
  
• Rule #7 - Signatures
  We do not have any specific set of rules regarding signatures. However, we do ask you that it will not be offensive to others and the width & height will not exceed 500x135 pixels. If you desire to have a custom avatar, it must be 80x80 pixels or less. No adult, drug related or racist content please.

There are 'extra' set of rules for specific forums; Like requesting, hacking, ect.. Please read them before posting. They will appear at the top of the each forum as a Sticky:

If these rules espically sending of hacks people do not have authority to do so via PM, we will take stronger measures which can include disabling private messages in full. So lets keep the site alive and out of trouble by following these rules. If you have comments or questions post on this thread.
