Though it could get really annoying..

if you do then make sure you can toggle it in the profile or something.

Wink

If it's sent out too soon there's a chance for that. I'd wait around 3 days before sending it out.

And only if the user hasn't replied to that post.

I thought only those who downloaded got this e-mail? Those that posted in the thread wouldn't matter anyway, as they couldn't get support without first clicking on the link from the e-mail. Non-supported posters in the thread could unsubscribe from the thread as they normally would (if they wanted).

*raises eyebrow* what?

1. it's an install button
2. we were talking about once you have installed the hack unless you have already posted in the hack then it would send out an email

dunno what you were reading but that was a load of bs

Grow up, I'm not interested in your petty gripes and digs at other sites (which I never mentioned btw).

There are a few mods here I might have been interested in looking at, but won't, there have also been a couple of support questions related to mods that I might have answered - except they required looking at the code to answer them. I think it's wrong to force someone to click on install just to download. So, apparently, do others. Unless I'm banned, or about to be, then I am entitled to post my view (and without people making snide remarks about other sites I may be Staff on).

Rogersnm, how old are you? :ermm: I'm not sure what you're talking about but the rest of us are talking about:

Perhaps that's a possiblity of a once a day cron*... "Hey {username}, you downloaded [] hack, if you installed it click this link to say so: ... and if you want to comment on it, this was the original thread: ..."
That's NOT an install button, that's an automatic CRON from the server.

It helps if you read posts in chronological order ;)

Then you would have to detect if they hit on (no pun intended) the attachment. I do read posts in chronological order. And wow chronological is a big word for you did you look it up on google?
