Jelsoft has lifted the ban on the Lockdown hack.

Dear vb.org members,

As some of you already knew, so called "Lockdown" hack was not welcomed in vbulletin.org for years due to its high usage in warez boards. Jelsoft has decided that vb.org license system that protects hacks in our site is good enough to keep warez boards away from this hack so we are now allowing the release of this hack in our site considering it can have some legitimate uses for some of our members.

If any of our hackers are willing to release this hack here, you are now welcomed.

Ps. Lockdown is a hack that allows the poster to hide certain texts in the first post of a thread which can only be seen by replying to the thread.

Logician is the newest admin, and Chen is no longer the admin or owner. But this was a jelsoft rule.

Probably figured since people can get it here they might as well put it on their site

There licence system is very effective cant find any hacks from vbulletin.org anywhere at all. I find this statement to be especially true when i forget how to use a search engine or my internet connection has stopped working.

They distribute full vBulletin versions as well, I dunno, I'll have to check...

Yes, that site is sharing full versions of vBulletin, also a lot of skins

What is the status of the VBhosting script (Advanced Forums)? I know that it was banned from vb.org. I was wondering if it would be ok to run a free board service using this script without getting picked on by Jelsoft.
