I am a big consoles fan, i have all the consoles but have not upgraded my xbox to a 360. I was waiting for the PS3.But with it not coming out and Nintendo's Wii looking so good i think i may succumb to the hype and get one for the kids this Xmas.(Having kids is a good excuse to buy stuff for them you really would like yourself):nervous: .
Nintendo have always been best at games with actual gameplay.The new wireless joypad looks like it could be fun for golf and sports games but dont know how useful it would be for others.
So are you having a Wii this Xmas?

It'll be out in the States on the 19th of this very month for $249.99. And out in the UK on Dec 4th for £179.
But supposedly you will need to pay extra for more controllers.

I'm not really a games person but I have to say, I watched some of the cheesy videos with people playing some of the games and it looked alot of fun.

I would imagine the console on release will be sold out so the chances of getting one will be slim at best. I'm tempted, though I doudbt I'll go out and buy one.

Xbox 360's better than both of them. Just look at the spec's, plus xbox 360 has ironed out the bugs and has more games available than the PS3 (obviously). To mention some: Halo 2/3 and Gears of War. Fear for xbox 360 is also a lot better than the pc version.

The Wii looks interesting, although I haven't gamed for many years. This actually looks like a pretty good Xmas idea for my daughter though. We were thinking about an IPOD, but I'm not sure that's the greatest of ideas.

I'll checkout some of the games and see if it looks like something the entire family would enjoy playing.
