As far as I am concerned my discussion with anthony was civil and ended well so my involvement in this thread is no longer.
Ok, stay calm or/and take a chill pill. This thread has gone way off topic so I request it either be closed or brought sharply back to the point.

In future try to read what I'm saying and try not to come up with your own assumptions and/or your finalized conclusion. I made it clear (in this thread) my stance about the thread.

That said, I'll agree that the closure of this thread wouldn't be a bad thing. The community certainly doesn't benefit from talking about other peoples incompetance and will result in insults being thrown across to members .

You broke the rules, got caught, and got a 1 week suspension. There is nothing more to it than that.

If you break the law of the land, and get caught, then you get punished - if you break the rules on other forums then you have to accept the consequences, why do you think vb.org would be any different ?

Bringing personal grievances to other forums is not really a very mature thing to do.

The first bit's true but the 1 week ban for all the hacks he released on your site isn't very nice - to say the least.

Is that to suggest that people should be treated differently depending on how many hacks they've submitted?
I think a week is just enough to get the message across but not so much that it's excessive.

Not completely differently but if someone breaks a small rule but has released a lot of hacks and has helped your site a lot; to go and ban him is a bit harsh. I appreciate your point of you bairy but I think one week is excessive. But I don't believe this topic is about why people get banned, I believe it is about getting a few more active members for vBH.

end of the day it's a matter of opinions. we all have them and i can garentee we will all be different in some way. It's what makes us individuals. but i am gonna close the thread now as pretty much everything has been said on this topic and stuff that shouldn't have. plus i don't like seeing threads flaming other boards, in this case it's vb.org.
