since my current hosting has some "difficulties", i'm looking for new hosting for my board.

wondered if anyone knows a good hosting he can recommended of, or even better, own a server & willing to host in exchange for something in return.

I second that, valleyhosting is indeed very good. I don't have a hosting account with them, but I'm an admin at 5 boards hosted by them (this one being one of them), and never had any trouble.
