If you had to use only one IM, which one would it be, and why?

IRC, good old mIRC :p

I like msn, it seems to be a lot faster then the others. AIM makes my comp lag

That's a good feature.

IRC is indeed missing from list - sometimes good old fashion smily styles can beat most recent "gadgets".
i would also add "Gaim" (for all linux users out there - certianlly a tool of the trade ) - which is sort of GNU "trillian" that allows everything into 1 client gui.

tbh though, msn is indeed prefered by me from list shown, compared to others.

Well you guys convinced me to try MSN. Thanks for the help in choosing which IM to use. Unfortunately MSN won't let me log in to use it, so I might just forget about having a IM altogether. It lets me sign in to the Passport Network, but the same informaton doesn't work with MSN. Oh well, we tried

Trillian... but out of the above I prefer MSN.
