The best way to learn yourself is to pick up a older free copy of Photoshop at your local library or download the trial version and start playing around with it. Then when you feel better at using it go out and buy the newest copy and start learning it. Don't be intimidated by all the cool features. Take them one step at a time. You'll surprise yourself at just how easy it is to use, and how many cool things you've made with it. You won't learn anything if you always let other people make all of your graphics. The best way to learn is by actually doing it yourself. That's how everyone else learns. We all made mistakes. We learned by them, and you can too. You could be the next great graphics designer

I seemed to have overlooked this thread.

As Colonel Ingus said, Grab an older copy of photoshop I'm sure there is a 30 day trial thopugh if your new to graphic editors you may find photoshop a bit bulky and daunting but overall it's the industry standard and the best graphics editor imo.

There are free alternatives that are easier to get along with and I suggest you grab this great program Gimp 2.2.1. It's free and a very powerfull program and there are plenty of tutorials on their homepage to get you started.

Another excellent free program is Inkscape 0.43 you can download that (link Below) although it may be something you'll use in the future rather than now and it also has plenty of tutorials on their homepage. You can download that Here

If you decide to opt for Photoshop I strongly suggest you give this site a visit This Site. The site has an abundance of tutorials and this is one of the sites that go into detail on how to use the tools and functions of photoshop rather than the everyday "how to make a flashy signature" and learn nothing in the process. :classic:
