Thumbs up

Over the course of time we've pretty much tried them all. A smallorange, dreamhost, 1and1, you name it. Then we tried Site5 and we've never looked back. Their service is world class, our sites are always fast and never go down, and they don't treat you like a number - they treat you more like family. Plus Site5 has features like Flashback that no other host can offer. If you have any pre-sales questions they will be more than happy to assist you here

They've been good to me so far.

Excell Hosting is a pretty good host. They're free too. I've been with for about a month now, haven't had any real problems with them. They give you 300MB (you could add more), 3 MySQL (upgradeable to 5), sub-domains. In order to sign-up you have to post on webmasterhotspot.com for the hosting, but there isn't any required posting on the forum after that; but if you post you get WHS$ Dollars, similar to vB Cash systems, which is what you use to upgrade your account. 150 WHS dollars for another 10MB, or 1500 WHS dollars for a Domain Name. Also, when you get 200 posts on their message board you're allowed to remove the ads from your website. My friend signed up 2 weeks ago and already has 120 posts.

Nope, VP1 Plan with Liquid web: http://www.liquidweb.com/shared/plan4.htm. Is very good with no downtime after 8 months with them.

Nope! For us it's Site5 all the way. They've given us service that we know for a fact we'd never get anywhere else. On Wednesday we renew our account with them for another wonderful year

I just clicked on your link to them. It looks like if you don't need 500 or 750 GB/mo of transfer you are shafted on the amount of server power you get.

I might mention to stay far away from Globat.com They were great when I signed on with them 2 yrs ago. Since then they have gotten very greedy and over sold like mad. Due to server stress (by their own addmission, finally) it very frequently takes 2 to 7 mins to load a page in my site now. They refuse to tell me how many clients are on my server and they refuse to move me to a less populated server. I am out of there this coming week, come hell or high water!
