since S.A. GameSpot hack went public, the ****ers @ GameSpot decided to fight us back & put cookie based redirection to search query, thus preventing direct page fetching. guess they had too many hits :redmad:

Anyway, this means i need to locate a new website .
Just one request, which i hope my board admins colleagues & this forum admins will understand - if anyone code something, PLEASE (!!), KEEP FULL CODE PRIVATE, as it will cause w/e other site found to go down as well, just like this one.
imho, advising & posting of sections/fragments of code are OK, but full release will be bad.

i belive there was another good source for games but odnt exactly remmeber it =x

This was always something I was aware of and thought may happen once the code was released. Another reason why I was reluctant to release it.
It could be something as simple as gamespot finding out the hack exists and putting a stop to it with this new system. Im sure they get plenty of hits per day as it is and this hack may or may not increase that but I cant say im suprised that this happened. I believe nforce asked the author to take down his hack within days of release also. It would appear gamespot didnt bother to ask me that they just put a block on how its done.

Even if I could fix this and right now I dont know if I can, in releasing it publicly I would just open the code up to the same thing happening again so please dont expect a fix for this hack any time soon if at all from me. Please also no complaints about how it doesnt work anymore or requests privately or publicly for a fix because its not going to happen and may end up with you on ignore.

it was too be expected that they would sooner or later take messures against this and even if anyone finds (or probably allready has) they will find out about it and take that out too, but just as in most things, we need to evolve and get better & better :p
