I got a pesky little member that just wants to cause problems. He wants me to delete his account because he doesn't want emails from my site.

I told him I don't delete accounts and then told him how he could stop the e-mails. I guess he totally disregarded that.

So the next e-mail he gets he threatens to talk to his lawyer.

Yep they seem to do the rounds, lawyers in the US must be fed up hearing about people being banned etc from online forums lol....I had one who's father was a police officer, and was going to sort me out if i didnt unban him...

I ignore them. I'll discuss the matter civilly with a lawyer if they decide to go through all the hassel of hiring one, but I won't be bullied or threatened. The lawyer has to give you at least 24 hours. Most don't pay to hire one. If they don't want the e-mails then why don't they just add the address to their spam filter? ;)
