Just curious to what the difference is between these. When I code, I like to tear mods apart to see how they work and basically create mine off of what I learned from breaking it down. But I saw this and it had me wondering, lol.

THIS is what I use in my modifications:
PHP Code:
{

print_no_permission();
}
Then today, I saw this while breaking one down
PHP Code:
{

print_no_permission();
    exit;
}
What's the difference? Obviously besides the exit;, but does it change anything different? Which is the proper way (First or second one)?

should there be any following lines after the block, the code without exit will continue to run it (depands on code flow), while the other code with exit will terminate script.

EDIT:
There is no "proper" way, it all depands on "code flow", and if you wish to perform code after that current block, or do some & then just abort anything else.
Likely possible usage to this is when some "critical error" encountered, in a way that you cannot allow to continue any further.
Solution to original question
Regards,
Idan.
