I use TruStudio Eclipse for projects, and PHP Designer 2005 for simple files or HTML/CSS/XML/JS/etc.

For FTP, FileZilla.

For Source code repos. I use CVSNT and TortoiseCVS.

For editing templates I use a vBulletin script I wrote which allows you to work with them as files and save/compile them to the database with ease.

Mantis for bug tracking.

And finally, Photoshop for graphics.

Thanks.

I'll post my update within a few days - I believe one of the bugs was that the filtered update wasn't working (though save was).

I love it. No longer will I waste time with the AdminCP for templates! Having to copy/paste into the template manager was taking too much time, not to mention when you are working on more than one template. :p

I'm using FAR file manager with its internal editor and Colorer plugin to highlight php/html syntax.
WinCVS for versioning, Mantis as a bugtracker.
Firefox with "Web Developer" and "FireBug" extensions

Ah, yes I forgot to mention Firefox extensions! The two you listed are absolutely fantastic. There is also a similar extension ("add-on") for IE which is a must for testing, especially for FireFox Web Developer users!

To add to your list,

-Add N Edit Cookies
-CookieSwap (cookie profiles)
-DOM Inspector (default?)
-Tamper Data (highly recommended)
-View Source Chart

Another semi-related one (might be useful for you SEO folk) is SearchStatus, which shows your PR and Alexa rank. It also has a context menu for quite a few more useful features.

Both are definate must have tools for any web developer. I don't know how I ever got by without them back in the day. Firebug is especially useful for debuging AJAX applications or just seeing what is transfered in any AJAX powered site.

In general I use good old notepad, else lately I started using Ultra Edit.

Another nice program I use while coding is regex coach.
