Resizing avatars

Is there a way to make all avatars the same size?

I've set a maximum size (100x100) in the usergroup management settings but some people have uploaded 50x50, some 70x90, some 80x50... you get the picture.

I've noticed some forums have everyone the same size, and it looks neater.

Is there a way to resize photos when they're uploaded or something like that?
