I've been using this paid product. I've done trials with most of the software I could find out there. This one is the simplest and the one I've found is easiest *not to forget to start/stop*.
Check it out. It's more accurate than the pen and paper method, keeps better records, and allows you to export them, etc. Also can sort stuff by project, etc.
