Hi, I've a question. I'm intresting in a hack like this: Advanced Mood Hack: vbemotions - vBulletin.org Forum. I want develope my own Mood Hack, but I'm a really newbie, so I need some advice.
About that hack.. is that the best way for develope a mood hack, or is there another best way? For example, with no plug-ins, code changes, etc..

You can develop any hack how you want it to be. I recommend you don't make any hard file edits though, as these make upgrading a board harder.

I would also start on something more basic ;).

You will probably need to use plugins.

I would research mainly PHP and XHTML/CSS but some AJAX (Javascript) would come in handy.

I only know (X)HTML and CSS, for now.
