Status: Offline Hey there, in my HTML code I am calling a javascript code like this: Code: <div class="smallfont">
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.site.org/external.php?forumids=73,74&type=js"></script>
<script language="" type="text/javascript">
<!--
for (x = 0; x < 6; x++)
{
document.writeln("<img class=\"inlineimg\" style=\"vertical-align: middle\" src=\"http://www.site.org/skin/buttons/lastpost.gif\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" /> <a href=\"http://www.site.org/showthread.php?t="+threads[x].threadid+"\">"+(threads[x].title.length > 56 ? threads[x].title.substr(0, 56) + '..' : threads[x].title)+"</a><br />");
}
//-->
</script></div>

Status: Offline what "mail reader" are you reffering to ? In general i would say that if client side scripting (such as javascript) fails, you can always do this on server side, and serve output from a given php script instead... Please give more information as to where it's used and what's displayed exactly - then i might be able to help you more... Status: Offline I see plugin use textarea box on admincp and you place the text onto it. We could create phpscript that generates & fills the html for you, then only left to paste it on your admincp textbox. To "port" javascript to php, i'll need to see current JS files files. in code you've mentioned 2, one of them external. Upload them here please & i'll see what i can do to help ypu with it. Status: Offline That's the vBulletin one. The external.php provided by vBulletin. And the javascript code I'm using is taken from the Floris thread on vB.com: HowTo Display Latest Active Threads on ANY normal HTML page - vBulletin Community Forum Also, the HTML code I paste on the box is the one I have here: http://www.vb-italy.org/newsletter/ |

Status: Offline gimme me a day or two, i'll take a look into this. basically the code we need for php already exists in the external.php, the other JS you did is simply looping it to generate html from it. Not sure if i'll make it tonight or not, as i might be going out soon, and currently in middle of something involving vbhackers new design/layout. Gimme till tomorrow night, will check it tomorrow evening when i'm back from work. i'll find you some php workaround to inject html for mailer usage on admincp ![]() solution will be adding button on admincp, near textbox, that generate the html for you & place it onto textbox.
